ALTER in the STEPHANIK Project
Promoting the new generation of modular satellites
|
The STEPHANIK initiative stands out as a key achievement for Europe in space technology. The consortium behind it plans to create a modular satellite that weighs over 150 kg and features a design that can scale up easily.
Within this ambitious program, ALTER contributes its expertise in testing, technical validation, and certification of space subsystems, collaborating as a member of the consortium to ensure that each component meets the most demanding requirements in terms of reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
ALTER participates in the development of the different work packages, supporting the transition from documentary to a fully functional system. This partnership will build up Europe's tech strengths overall, helps the Slovak space field and connect research efforts with business needs.
The goal sits at September 2027 for hitting the main milestones. We invite you to follow every step of STEPHANIK's progress and explore how our experience in testing and certification drives the mission toward success.
