ALTER UK has recently received a series of highly significant orders from Sidel, further consolidating a key industrial partnership between the two companies.

Sidel, part of Tetra Laval International alongside Tetra Pak, is a global leader in packaging solutions for beverages, food and consumer products. The company is widely recognised for its strong commitment to technological innovation and sustainability within the packaging sector.

This collaboration builds on a well-established relationship. In 2025, ALTER in Livingston was recognised with the Sidel Supplier Award for Innovation, highlighting its valuable contribution to the design and manufacture of laser modules, which are critical components of the EvoBLOW system, Sidel’s latest PET blowing technology. This solution enables plastic preforms to be heated more precisely and efficiently before being transformed into bottles, opening the door to a reduction of up to 20% in plastic material usage.
